Agenda and minutes

1. General information
   • Status on current work
     • PG reported that no significant progress was made on the final revision of the high-level requirement document. It will propably first be finished in the start of December due to other pressing work.
2. Possible FP7 proposal
   • Draft proposal etc.
     • PG reviewed the current status of out potential FP7 proposal to OPTICON. From discussions with OPTICON, it seems not realistic to submit a proposal which require more resources than a steering committee and possibly a total of 2 FTE. It does not make sense to consider a proposal if ESO does not explicitly support it. Thus, PG will try to get a firm statement from ESO (see action). The proposal must be submitted to OPTICON by end of November. It is expected that they will decide on proposals at their board meeting in early January.
     • DT mentioned that he had several discussions on North American participation on a proposal. It was unclear if such partners should be included on the formal proposal (see action).
3. Proto-types
   • Reports on proto-type work
     • LP gave a short summary of activities related to the Marseilles-Milan proto-type. They plan to try a new concept for the parameter model and hope to start the work in the next weeks. CS added that features of the clients also were being reconsidered.
