Agenda and minutes

1. General information
   • ADASS'07
     • Possible presentation at ADASS'07 in London were discussed. It was agreed that we should ask for a BoF but otherwise would not present a poster for our Network. Individual groups are, of course, welcome to submit their own contributions.
   • Next Face-to-face meeting
     • It was judged that too little work on the interface specifications would be done before the ADASS meeting end September to justify a full scale face-to-face meeting. Thus, our next full face-to-face meeting is likely to be kept at ESO Garching in the very end of the year. On the other hand, it would be a nice to take the opportunity of ADASS for a short (2-3 hour) meeting in order to discuss with people (e.g. from North America) who otherwise cannot join such meetings. It was decided that we should aim for a short meeting in the afternoon of Sunday Sep.23. The exact time would first be known with the ADASS program would be published.
   • Timetable for EU FP7 proposal
     • An e-mail from OPTICON confirmed that it expect the appropriate EU call for FP7 to be made around 2007-11-15 with a deadline of 2008-02-15.
2. High-level requirements
   • Reply to comments
     • The replies (discussed at our last face-to-face meeting) were distributed. If no strong request for re-discussions are raised, the high-level requirements document will be revised by the end of July.
3. Proto-types
   • Reports on proto-type work
     • DT noted that there had been discussion on the parameter model vs. VO tables. Further, work on the VO messaging system did progress. There are two line namely: a fast upgrade of the Plastic concept and a more general structure to be defined somewhat later. People who are interested in following this work should check the appropriate IVOA e-mail list.
