1. General information
   • Budget
     • PG reported that John Davies had informed him that the OPTICON Executives had decided to reduce the allocated funds for Networks. For our Network, it was a reduction of 35k EUR which translate to a remaining budget of some 29k EUR as of 2007-01-01. Since we plan to have a total of three face-to-face meeting (including the one we just had on Tenerife), it should just be enough if we are careful.

     • The last face-to-face meeting was kept Mar. 1-2 at Tenerife with 10 participants. We went through to written comment on the high-level requirements, started a discussion on interface specifications, and spent some time on preparations for a possible application, through OPTICON, for an implementation project under EU FP7. It is expected that minutes of the meeting will be available in April.
2. High-level requirements
   • Status of Internet review
     • The written comments were discussed during the face-to-face meeting. PG admitted that he was late but would try to update the summary file with replies by early April with the hope to get a final version of the requirements by and of April or start May.
3. Lessons Learned - AIPS (BillCotton)
   • Bill discussed the Lessons Learned for AIPS. Besides a general review of the AIPS system, he also emphasized the need for interaction with running task as some may take very long time to execute (e.g. days). This could both take the form of the user updating parameters for the task or the task asking explicit questions.
   • It was generally agreed that AIPS applications could fit into the general architecture but that we would need to ensure that the parameter and message mechanisms would be able to provide the interaction required.
4. Proto-types
   • Reports on proto-type work
     • LP had sent a link to the Milan-Marseille FASE prototype out on the fase mailing list. All are urged to look on it and give comments.
     • DT reported that not much had happened on the openRTE prototype due to the short time since the face-to-face meeting.
5. Actions

7. Any other business
   • MalcolmCurrie had tried to create a TWiki account but failed. It turned out that the security on out TWiki site had been increased to avoid attacks. Unfortunately, this also effected personal account which no longer can be created automatically but only by request to Preben Grosbol
