Agenda and minutes

1. General information
   • New TWiki version
     • Due to security issues our TWiki implementation was upgraded to the lasted version. The 'void' skin we used is no longer supported. We will move to the new default skin.
2. Next face-to-face meeting at ADASS'05
   • Arrangements
     • DP reported on the final arrangements for the meeting. All reservation requested should have been made and confirmations sent out. A dinner is planned Friday evening. To enable people who will arrive around the same time to know it and share taxis a ArrivalTimes20050930 page has been create where all participants can list their arrival time. The instructions for getting to Euroforum is available on FaceToFaceMeeting20050930.
   • Tentative agenda
     • The tentative agenda is available at FaceToFaceMeeting20050930. There was a short discussion and DT proposed to add an item on VO clients and publishing of VO services. Presentations on ALMA/AIPS++ is planned. It was also suggested to add explicit items for Python, PyIRAF and PyMIDAS. A agenda will be revised.
3. ADASS'05 meeting
   • Poster
     • Our poster to ADASS will shortly mention the requirements but mainly deal with the architectural concept proposed. DT will make the draft by Friday and PG will get it printed and bring it to ADASS.
   • BoF
     • A BoF on 'Common Astronomical S/W Environment for Data Analysis' has been scheduled for Monday evening, Oct. 3. DT and PG will chair the session and will in the next days send an e-mail announcing it.
4. Anything new?
   • Requirements
     • PG has made a basic revision of the detailed requirements and will ask BG, PL and DP to cross-check them with their notes. When that is done PG will convert the requirements into a text document (hopefully next week before the meeting). The revised version is available on DetailedHighLevelRequirements.
     • PL was concerned that no proposal on 'Standard Applications' had been made although it was on the agenda. He offered to help working on the definitions. The requirements for GUI's was moved to a new page StandardAppsAndLibs which could be used for listing such standard applications.
   • Architecture
     • The main developments were reported by DT and concerned VO clients and publishing of VO web services. Proto-types were made at the NVO summer school.
